Where do you run the lessons?
At Sandringham School in St Albans

What days and times do you have lessons?
All lessons are term time only
  Tuesdays       4pm - 6pm
                                       Thursdays     4pm - 7pm                                       
                  Saturdays      11:30am - 2.00pm     
 

Who can join?
Anyone from the age of 3 can join!

Are there teachers in the water?
Yes, the teacher is in the water and there are also assistants for the younger children

Are the teachers qualified?
Yes of course, all the teachers are Level 2 ASA Qualified and are DBS checked.  They also have either the National Rescue Award for Teachers and Coaches or The National Lifeguarding qualification.

How long is each lesson?
All lessons are 30 minutes long.

How can I pay and what if there is a cancelled lesson?

Payments can be made by cash, cheque or online via a bank transfer. Payments must be made at the beginning of the term.
 
If we have to cancel a lesson because of pool closure or staff illness, you will be credited/refunded a lesson. We cannot offer refunds for missed lessons, however if your child has a long term illness/broken bones then we will arrange a refund.

Does my child have to wear a swim hat?
All swimmers have to wear a swim hat. Wearing a swim hat keeps the pool clean. We can provide you with a hat.

Do I have to stay on site while my child is having their lesson?
All children under the age of 8 should be accompanied by a parent/carer, who must stay at the venue for the duration of the lesson

Am I allowed to take photos?
No photography is allowed of the children unless permission is granted from the teachers and parents.
